what you're wearing: olivia

today olivia is sharing an outfit with us. i'm sure you all know olivia already. she's been on here before - here, here, and here.

and if you haven't already visited olivia's blog, everyday musings, you should do so now! warning: she will make you very hungry. she will also make you want to pack up and move to charleston in a second.

i love olivia. i love her blog, her gorgeous pictures, her sweet nature, and her kindness. something about her makes me feel instantly calm...and that's definitely something i need in my life!

without futher ado, i present:

cropped sweater: urban outfitters
rolled-up, too big, skinny jeans: h&m (five years ago)
heeled clogs: uggs
circle scarf: american apparel
sunglasses: rayban original wayfarers

interview questions:

1. where did you wear this outfit?
i wore this outfit at my beach house during thanksgiving week. it was cozy and casual without being (too) sloppy.

2. where are you favorite places to shop? favorite online stores?
who isn't in love with anthropologie? just walking in that store makes my heart flutter. i also love urban outfitters, freepeople, j.crew, american apparel, and madewell.

3. do you have a style icon?
i think sofia coppola is one of the most gorgeous, elegant, cool women in the world. she always looks effortlessly chic, and her natural timeless beauty does not hurt either. (alexa chung is also a goddess.)

4. what do you have the most fun shopping for and wearing?
i love shopping for anything and everything when i'm in the right mood and mindset (it is crucial that i am not too hungry or too full).

5. is there anything you would love to wear but are too timid to try?
it's not that i'm too timid, but i always want to wear high-waisted pants; they just don't work on me. although i am too timid try out really short hair, even though i adore it (i had a few bad haircut experiences when i was younger).

and now for the the silly/fun questions:

1. if your style spoke a language, what would it be?
french (in my ideal world), but realistically it would speak "olivia." my style has been pretty consistent my entire life.

2. what cartoon character best reflects your sense of style?
i don't know if this counts, but belle is my favorite disney princess. she was so sweet in her casual day dress & loose ponytail (plus she always had her nose in a book, like me!).

3. what time period would you love to have dressed in?
the 1930s! i'm obsessed with every outfit in the movie coco before chanel.

isn't olivia gorgeous? you can say hello to here here!
