change of plans

our weekend didn't go exactly as planned.

we didn't get to go apple picking.
we got a flat tire (again. 3rd this month).
we decided to skip the pumpkin patch since they don't even grow the pumpkins there.
my camera broke again, and dropping it didn't work this time. (these pictures were taken with the camera i don't like.)
and we haven't seen where the wild things are yet (maybe tonight).

we did:
watch away we go (loved it), hang out with my family, make hot apple cider, and carve pumpkins though!

my pumpkin:
jasi
{cupcake}
levi

sometimes things don't go quite as planned, but you can still have fun anyway.
and that's the moral of this story.

  2. I LOVE the cupcake! That is fantastic.

    Sometimes I feel guilty when my weekends don't go as planned - especially when it comes to blowing off things around the house. But if it means quality time with my family it's worth it!

  12. you are good at carving pumkins. I like how the parents at the beginning of 'Away We Go' just move out of the country a month before the baby is born and how Maggie Gyllenhaal's character was so weird. I loved the whole stroller part and the beautiful beach house they move into at the end.

  24. the cupcake pumpkin is so cute. i don't blame you for not going to a pumpkin patch that doesn't even grow the pumpkins. i watched away we go last week, my favorite part is when he starts trying to raise the baby's heart after she says something to him about it and he just starts randomly screaming and cussing at her! hahahaha.
