This Clara Tales video is the sweetest thing.

All the acting and narration are done by children. They hope to make more videos, and I certainly hope they do! It sounds like a really great and meaningful project. A Little Wolfie for the Weekend

Levi and I babysat Wolife last week. Oh man, he really is the cutest baby I've ever seen in my life. He's gotten REALLY talkative. He hollers and laughs and coos. It's the sweetest thing. And that child never stops moving! If I moved as much as he does laying down, I'd never need to work out. Here's a video of him with his fox. He loves his fox. The cutest bit is around 1:45 when he eats the phone. The sound he makes is adoooorable.

last week, for some reason, i convinced levi that i had bought a puppy.

WHY do i like to try to make him believe i did something i didn't do???

i guess i just wanted to see what his reaction would be.

also, i'm a bad liar. maybe i just think i need practice?

anyway, he wasn't happy. he said his first reaction was, "i wonder how big the dog is."

i found it interesting that his first thought wasn't, "how am i going to get rid of this dog AND my wife?"

so maaaaaaybe levi's subconscious actually wants me to buy a puppy.

maybe?

the newest addition to our family

levi and i adopted a little, baby kitty today!!!

we get to bring lily's new little sister home next weekend after she's been spayed and received all her shots.

she's is such a little pumpkin!

she and lily will have so much fun together.

....levi did not kill me (or yell at me) for this.

and he didn't kill me or yell at me for the gorgeous skirt (certainly not as expensive. in fact, it was a pretty good price) that i purchased yesterday.

he's the best.

i just get nervous clothes shopping since it's been a pretty long time since i've really done any. i'll get over it.

on a completely unrelated note, look at the picture of tiny baby levi & big sister merry that levi's dad emailed me last night:

our weekend officially starts at 3:00 pm today.

our goal for the weekend is to find a couch! wish us luck!

we think they're funny

i think yesterday was "my pets do funny things day"

our kitty lily was hilarious yesterday.

all she wanted to do was play.

i caught a video of her on the windowsill trying to get the cord for the blinds.

if you get bored with watching videos of cats, i'll tell you now - the funniest part is in the beginning when she straddles the desk.

but at the end you get to hear her cute little tiny meow.

if you watch the first 10 seconds and the last 15 seconds, you pretty much get the gist of her cuteness.

we love our little lilliputian kitty.

and buttercup was pretty hilarious yesterday too.

her videos are pretty short.

here she is eating corn on the cob (the song has nothing to do with the video - i just couldn't bear for anyone to hear all the special "butter voices" everyone was using while she ate. plus i just like this song.)

and her she is getting the highest score in a round of farkle.

okay, that's enough! i should really stop boring you with cute pet videos.

check out this little gem i found on facebook the other day. this is my friend sarah's daughter. her name is avery. she is four and hilarious. levi and i have actually been known to quote her.
