"A portrait of my child once a week, every week, in 2013."
Cecily: 13 weeks (three months old today!). Always such a happy girl after her morning nap. Her hands and feet are always a blur because she never stops moving.
P.S. I took this on my Nikon! It's not perfect, but I'm finally starting to figure this camera out a bit. The light in our house isn't great so I'm going to make more of an effort to photograph her while we're out this week. Yay for learning! :)
I like the light, it's soft and baby-perfect to me.
ReplyDeleteIt's a gorgeous photo of your little one. She certainly looks like a happy little one. Have a wonderful week.:)
ReplyDeleteOh what a lovely girl! Three months is such a cute, happy stage. Good on you for learning your big kid camera! I used to live in a place with really low light and it sucked. One thing that helped me was a tip I read somewhere: bump your ISO as high as it will go, then overexpose by about half to one stop. Bring the exposure down in post. I've tried that. It really helps get shaper, less noisy results. But still, low light apartments, blurg.
ReplyDeleteYay to cute baby pics!!
ReplyDeleteYOU'RE DOING SUCH A GOOD JOB! so proud. Also, you'll figure it out. You can learn to shoot on manual if you want more control, but if you get to a point where you take pictures that you love then who cares?! :)
ReplyDeletelove this photo. LOVE this little girl.
Does she have red hair? so sweet
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous little girl! And I've always loved that name - so sweet x
