puzzled.

yesterday was a weird day. i was feeling a little down in the dumps. just kinda lonely and a little moody.

so i went to target! i picked up the new regina spektor album - far. it was on sale for less than $10! i'm pretty sure this is the first physical copy of an album i've bought in yearrrs. so far, my favorite song is folding chair. i love the line that says, "i've got a perfect body 'cause my eyelashes catch my sweat." what's your favorite on the album?

i also bought a jigsaw puzzle. that's right - i'm the nerd who does puzzles by herself when she's bored.

turns out levi is a total nerd too because he would NOT get off my puzzle when he came home. we were up 'til two in the morning working on that thing. and then he was up again this morning working on it! he's trying to steal it from me! anyway, it was really nice spending some time with him working on the puzzle, listening to music, staying up late, and talking. i'm feeling much better now!

p.s. i'm posting this from my phone...hopefully, it doesn't look weird.

  2. hello!
thank you for your comment. it was very thoughtful, considering, you know, that graduation was probably the biggest event, ever, in my 18 years (besides this past monday's senior citizen beach blanket bingo, and the midnight madness of the last harry potter book, both momentous events).
but, the point is, thank you. you're very nice and i do very much enjoy your blog. also, i agree with your thoughts on regina's far. she slash, it is fantastic. my favorite song is two birds.
    peace,

  15. I love Regina. I haven't gotten the album yet but I love "laughing with."
I can't tell you how much I love puzzles too. Kevin instituted a rule that we can't look at the picture before or while we're doing the puzzle. This way it lasts us a week or so. :)

  24. That sounds like a good way to clear up a bad day! Sometimes spontaneous late night alone time is the best.

My favorite on the album is Human of the Year because it sounds exactly like the live recording. I'm emailing you as soon as I have longer than a few minutes on my computer!

  34. Wow everyone loves that song. I love how you said you were feeling down so you went to Target. Totally something I would have done. In fact I did it a while ago. I was feeling an anxiety attack coming on so I decided to drive to Target. I bought a couple things and presto, I was feeling literally like 90% better. I love Target.
